2019-2022 Queen of the Furrow
is Allison Pepper from Chesley. She will represent Bruce County at the International Plowing Match at Kemptville in North Grenville County in September.
Tom Evans of Tiverton recently won the 2022 Canadian Plowing Championship for the third time at Rivers Manitoba in the reversible class. The competition was held May 2-6 just north of Brandon. This qualifies Tom to represent Canada at the 2023 World Contest. Location to be announced. Joining Tom on Team Canada will be Brian Davenport of Owen Sound who won the conventional plowing category.
The 2022 Bruce County Plowing Match was held on Friday, September 2, 2022 on the farm of Steve & Bert Ernewein, one corner south and 1 km west of Chepstow. 939 Concession Rd 4E. This is 1km east of Bruce Road 20. 33 Competitors took part.
The 2022-2023 Queen of the Furrow
is Hanna Van Stuyvenberg from Teeswater. She will represent Bruce County for the next year and compete at the International Plowing Match in Peel Dufferin in 2023.
